Moss was considered the ‘ father of lawn bowls in Australia’, other occupants of Norwood were prominent in sailing and horse racing. The book tells stories about colourful early colonists, including William Rucker, Hugh Childers, Johnny Fawkner, Henry Dendy, Kalma the Healer and Tommy Bent.
